Dynamic Simulation Modelling (DSM)

Dynamic Simulation Modelling provides a detailed, hour-by-hour assessment of how a building performs throughout the year, taking account of weather conditions, occupancy, glazing, shading, ventilation strategies, thermal mass and HVAC systems.

DSM is particularly suited to complex or highly glazed buildings where more detailed analysis is required than can be achieved using standard SBEM calculations.

Our DSM assessments can assist with:

By identifying potential issues at an early stage, DSM enables informed design decisions that can improve occupant comfort, reduce operational energy consumption and minimise costly design changes later in the project.
